Eileen Lach
Eileen Lach is an international lawyer who has practiced in both the for-profit and non-profit arenas as a senior executive in a major global healthcare company that specialized in women’s health, the general counsel of the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity, and as a partner in a national U.S. law firm Ms. Lach began her career with a Wall Street law firm and for seven years simultaneously served on a pro bono basis as the General Counsel of Amnesty International in the United States. Eileen recently completed a nine-year term as a member of the board of governors of the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where she sat on its Executive Committee. She has served as a judge/arbitrator in the Civil Courts of the City of New York, where she lives, and has focused her current work on the protection of victims of domestic and gender violence, and international trafficking, and the funding of innovative theatre and arts projects.
Eileen earned her B.A. degree in International Relations from the University of Minnesota, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She received a Juris Doctor degree from the New York University School of Law, and a Master of Public Affairs, with a concentration in Diplomacy and Development Economics, from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs.
