Your support of Her. Now! will make a difference for women and girls around the world, expanding family planning services, strengthening maternal health care and uplifting women and girls worldwide.

 

  • Global Visionary Sponsorship ($50,000) can provide 41,666 women access to essential, modern contraceptive options so that they can plan if and when to become pregnant.
  • Global Ambassador Sponsorship ($25,000) can provide a midwife with all the clinical supplies needed to support 1,250 mothers safely through childbirth.
  • Global Investor Sponsorship ($10,000) can ensure over 1,000 girls benefit from community-based programming focused on women’s empowerment and can live free from FGM, child marriage and other harmful practices.
  • Global Benefactor Sponsorship ($5,000) can deliver 1,000 birthing kits filled with essential and lifesaving supplies to mothers giving birth during humanitarian emergencies.
  • Global Investor Ticket ($1,000) can provide 3 women living with obstetric fistulas with life-changing fistula repair surgery, allowing them to live free from pain and discomfort and return to a happy, healthy life.
  • Global Benefactor Ticket ($500) can fund the delivery of emergency contraceptives for over 375 women in crisis settings, ensuring they have uninterrupted access to family planning supplies during war, natural disaster and ongoing crises.
  • Global Advocate Ticket ($250) can provide 16 women who have been displaced by a crisis with dignity kits containing essential supplies needed to maintain their hygiene and independence.

In a career spanning over three decades, Dr. Natalia Kanem has dedicated her life to improving the health and lives of women and children by championing their rights and choices. She leverages her combined expertise in science, public health and philanthropy to advance the reproductive health and rights of women and girls, and to uphold the human dignity of all. 
As United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UNFPA, the United Nations sexual and reproductive health agency, Dr. Kanem oversees its lifesaving policy, development and humanitarian work in over 120 countries, with the aim of assuring that ‘every pregnancy is intended, every childbirth is safe and every young person’s potential is fulfilled.’

Ambereen Sleemi, MD, MPH

Dr. Ambereen Sleemi is a USA for UNFPA Leadership Council Member and a female pelvic medicine reconstructive surgeon (Urogynecologist) and trained obstetric fistula surgeon. She is the co-founder and Surgical Director of International Medical Response, a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals that supplement, support and enhance healthcare systems in communities across the world that have been incapacitated by natural disasters, extreme poverty, and/or regional conflict.

Yes. USA for UNFPA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, to which contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law, less than $80.20 per ticket.

CAN I CONFIRM MY TICKETS AND SPONSORSHIP GIFT OFFLINE?

Yes. Please complete the Event Response Form indicating the desired sponsorship level and quantity with your check made payable to “USA for UNFPA” and mail to the following address:

We recommend guests wear business and/or cocktail attire. 

HOW DO I OBTAIN MY U.N. SECURITY PASS(ES) PRIOR TO THE EVENT?

We kindly request all guests confirmed to attend to please plan to arrive by 5:45 pm to allow sufficient time to pass through the security and check-in process.  

All guests are required to enter the UN Headquarters at the “Visitors’ Entrance” located on 1st Avenue between 45th and 46th Streets (via the security tents). Volunteers will be positioned on the steps in front of the Visitor’s Entrance, holding a “USA for UNFPA” sign, to distribute special event day passes to each guest. Additional volunteers will be positioned throughout the building to guide all guests to the Delegates Dining Room located on the fourth floor. 

ARE MY TICKETS AND EVENT PASSES TRANSFERABLE?

We require full names of each event attendee in advance for U.N. security procedures by 5:00 pm on Friday, November 10, 2023. Tickets and event passes are non-transferable after the deadline date.
